1941 Chevrolet Straight Intact Original Grill W/ Moldings 41 Convertible Coupe on 2040-parts.com

This is an original 1941 Chevrolet Grille.  This original Genuine GM grille was recently acquired from the estate of an elderly collector.  Grille was tagged as having been removed from a '41 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Sedan many years ago.  With exception of crank hole cover, this original '41 grille is complete and intact, as removed from car.  Some surface rust and peeling chrome is present on the steel grille(see pics), but grille itself appears to be perfectly straight, with no dents or bends.  Outer die-cast surround moldings and center grille molding are likewise straight, with no bends or breaks, but do have some fine pitting(see pics).  Top latch panel(with Chevrolet name spelled out) is very good, and the sheet metal bottom grille panel is very nice.  Please note that the rather crude removal method did cut into the fenders and the inner splash pan(or baffle), but the grille assembly and the lower grille panel were not damaged.   As stated, this grille assembly is correct for all '41 Chevrolet cars, including Coupe & Convertible.  This would also be a neat item to simply hang on the wall.  Standard ground delivery is quoted in listing.  Greyhound Bus Freight to your nearest Greyhound station is also availlable.  Your bid buys straight solid intact original 1941 Chevrolet Grille assembly as shown.
