This is a very nice and rare restored 1942 Chevrolet radio manufactured by United Motors Service (Delco) model 985793. It is original 6-volt and also fits the 1946-48 Chevy's with only bezel and push button color differences. This single unit self-contained receiver has a new enclosed pm speaker which has great sound. Servicing and restoration included a thorough cleaning and lubrication, new capacitors, replacement of necessary resistors, tested tubes and a great working vibrator, alignment, a new fuse link with new fuse, a working dial lamp and a new sponge rubber speaker seal (boot). The radio plays and sounds great with nice clear sound quality, strong volume and good tone. The light dimmer also works, as it should. Cosmetically the radio is in excellent condition with the original brown bezel and push buttons that have been polished to look their best, nice clear lens and new knobs to complement this very nice original Chevy radio. There are a few imperfections on the plastic bezel but for its age the radio overall looks fantastic. Please be sure to take advantage of the zoom feature for a better view of this very nice original radio that works and plays well and is ready to install. CA residents pay 7.75% sales tax. Your well packaged radio will be shipped the business day following receipt of payment. Thank You!

Citroen DS3 - complete with Fuchsia Pink Roof We love the Citroen DS3; it’s the best car in its sector by a surprisingly long way, and winner of our ‘Best car if you’re paying for it Yourself‘ Award. It’s also Top Gear and Fifth Gear’s favourite car. Which could go some way to explaining the 100,000 DS3s Citroen has already shifted, and 10,000 of those in the UK.
