No Cracks.

Here we have a 1946 Crosley Exhaust Manifold. It is cast iron and the casting number is C300111. I cleaned it up a bit, and there are no cracks or bad pits in the flanges, but I am sure one would want to mill the flange surfaces before installation. I am pretty sure this will fit other year engines. This was a spare I got many years ago with my Crosley Sedan, and at this stage, it looks like I will never use it, so time to lighten the load some.

Please be sure of your application before bidding, as I do not take returns, so if you bid and it is wrong, you will have your very own eBay item. I try to give an honest description, and I think you can see that by the feedback I get, but please look closely at the pictures before bidding, and feel free to ask any questions you may have before you bid. I will do my best to answer them.

Again, this is a used manifold, so it is being sold as is with no warranty.  Successful bidder to pay shipping. I am estimating shipping weight at around 8 to 9 pounds packaged. Initial contact expected within three days of close of auction, and payment within five. Pay Pal is accepted.

Barrett-Jackson to auction commemorative Z06 Corvette for museum fundraiser

Wed, 12 Jan 2011

In honor of the Chevrolet Corvette's inaugural appearance and victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans some 50 years ago, Chevrolet built a special 2011 Corvette Z06 wearing the same paint scheme--Arctic White paint, blue stripes and the number "3"--to pay tribute to the class-winning 1960 Cunningham Corvette. Chevrolet and the General Motors Design Center built and added several special one-off features for this car, which has vehicle identification number 001: -- Competition Gray headlamps, mirrors and wheels -- Special 50th-anniversary of Le Mans racing logos -- Blue brake calipers -- Z07 performance package with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes -- 19-inch front/20-inch rear 20-spoke Competition Gray wheels with Michelin PS2 tires -- Magnetic Selective Ride Control -- Black carbon-fiber front splitter and rockers -- ZR1-style rear spoiler -- Ebony leather-wrapped interior with Competition Gray trim -- Carbon-fiber fenders and floor panels Corvette Racing fans will recognize the special-edition Z06 as a participant in the Legends of Le Mans event at Laguna Seca in 2010. Driven by Corvette Racing legend Ron Fellows, the Z06 was accompanied by the 1960 Cunningham, the 1967 Bondurant/Guldstrand, the 1973 BF Goodrich and the C6.R GT2 Corvettes for a parade lap on the track.

Toyota RAV4 EV (2012) - a Toyota/Tesla electric SUV

Tue, 08 May 2012

The Toyota RAV4 has been turned into the only all-electric SUV on the market after a heart transplant from Tesla Motors.  The RAV4 EV has been given batteries and drivetrain bits from the Silicon Valley start-up to turn Toyota's most popular SUV into an electric-only vehicle with a 100-mile range. Toyota RAV4 EV: how it works A massive 422kg of batteries provide the power for the RAV4 EV, mounted low down in the centre of the vehicle to improve weight distribution. Toyota says that despite the new powertrain, no compromises have been made on passenger space.  Two driving modes offer a choice of speed or economy, Normal and Sport. Normal will send the RAV4 from 0-60mph in 8.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 85mph; Sport mode will take you there in 7.0sec and up to 100mph.

Mitsubishi previews Tokyo motor show concepts

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Mitsubishi Motors has released more details on three concept cars at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, which we will be attending, and all three concepts have something in common -- they're all SUVs with hybrid technology. And three weeks before the start of the show Mitsubishi Motors has released more details previewing the concept cars since announcing the concepts earlier in October. First up is the Mitsubishi Concept GC-PHEV, in the center of the photo, which is meant to preview a next-generation full-size SUV with full-time four-wheel drive.
