This cowl vent came from a 1947 to 1953 GMC pickup but will fit Chevrolet pickups as well. It is good shape for its age. There are no dents, only minor surface scratches and paint chips. The screen is intact and straight. It comes with the opening mechanism that includes all of the stock bolts with nuts. The open mechanism operates freely and the stock knob is intact. There is minor surface rust on the opening mechanism.

GM may use diesels in light-duty pickups
Mon, 11 Jun 2012General Motors is considering a diesel engine for light-duty versions of its redesigned full-sized pickups. GM North America President Mark Reuss said in an interview that a diesel is among the options for the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which are due in showrooms next spring. Chrysler Group recently said it is considering a diesel for its light-duty Ram.
