1947 Ford inline flathead 6 cylinder engine...it is in a chassis that was being restored, the cab and front sheet metal had been worked over and the frame was cleaned and in primer. The gent that was working on it passed and it sat for a few years and was sold to a friend of mine he took off a few parts and traded it to me I took off what I needed and the engine is for sale. you might check for other parts of this truck that will be made available very soon. if you want to buy everything that is left email me and I will try to work something out for the rest of it. The engine is full of oil that is dark but does not smell burned. The engine turns over with a bar and seems to have some compression. I think it could be started. It will come just as pictured with front mounts, intake and exhaust manifold, carburetor, distributor and bell housing. I could deliver it to the Pomona area durning the next Pomona swap meet, thinking some fuel consideration for that???? other that shipping will be up to the buyer. I can put it on a pallet and load it on a truck. I could take it to Las Vegas also for some fuel consideration there too. If you need something else you will have to check with me. I have the Dana 44 rear end complete, very nice short wheel base chassis that has been cleaned years ago and primed, the front axle with springs and brakes. Sorry no transmission......

Police Tape app can document traffic stops
Thu, 05 Jul 2012In a video that looks like something cooked up by elementary-school students, the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey touts its new, free smartphone app called Police Tape. The application allows users to review their rights on the spot and to record both video and audio when stopped by police. Once recorded, files can automatically be uploaded to external servers, where they are retained and examined by the ACLU for possible civil liberties violations.
