Here we have a new old stock set of standard to .009 made by the Continental Piston Ring company for a 1949 to 1955 Cadillac with the 331 cu. in. engine. These will also fit a 1951 to 1956 Chrysler with the 331 cu. in. engine and a 1954 to 1956 Dodge truck with the 303 or 331 cu. in. engine. These will also fit a 1955 Hudson 35580  Hornet Super, Custom, 1955 Nash Ambassador V8, 5580  and a 1955 Packard Clipper Super, Clipper Deluxe all with the 320 cu. in. engine. These will also fit a 1954 to 1956 Dodge trucks C-1-R, C-1-T, C-1-V, C-3-R, C-3-T and C-3-V. These rings are 3 13/16' in diameter and have 16-5/64" high wall compression rings and 8-3/16" oil rings. Toyota recalls 6.58 million cars – 35,000 in the UK

The Toyota Yaris (pictured) – one of the Toyotas recalled It seems Toyota has decided its dealer service centres aren’t busy enough, so it’s revealed a massive series of recalls for 6.58 million Toyota’s around the world – and 35,124 in the UK – to fix a raft of problems. The cars affected are the RAV4, Hilux, Yaris and Urban Cruiser models, and although no accidents or injuries have occurred as a result of the problems, Toyota are taking no chances. The Rav4 and Hilux models are being recalled to fix a spiral cable assembly in the airbag module where the shape and location of a retainer for the flexible flat cable could damage circuitry when the steering wheel is turned.

Oh goodness, this Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet is quite possibly this author’s favourite car ever to come up for auction. Pinpointing exactly why we love it so much is hard, probably because there are just so many reasons. But when we saw it featuring in the top 10 sales at this week’s RM Auctions Paris sale, we couldn’t move on with our lives without giving it a gallery all for itself.

Coda to price electric compact sedan at $44,900

Coda Automotive Inc. will begin delivering the first of its electric compact sedans in December priced at $44,900 before federal and state incentives. With federal incentives, the starting price will be $37,400, and with California state incentives, the price could be as low as $32,400.
