This is an NOS 6V volt, 40 amp. voltage regulator which was used on Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys from 1949-1955.  The regulator is complete with the screws for securing the wires to the three posts and a copy of the installation instructions.  This regulator has never been installed and has the original factory cadmium plating on the base.  This regulator was made in the USA.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or non working 6V voltage regulator. All the car buzz at the moment – at least around new models – is about the Geneva Motor Show in March. Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout

Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, which would increase the firm’s current 5% stake in the British brand.
