The item is an Original good used 1949 Chevy 6 cylinder engine, it came out of a Cab Over Engine truck, It is a 235 cu.in. engine, it is complete, has the updraft manifold and carb. and air cleaner, it turns over, the engine came out of a fire truck and has around 6,000 original miles on the engine, engine was in running condition, there is no cylinder ridge what so ever in the top of the cylinders. It is very clean. I would recommend to tear it down and go over it complete, So you are buying it "AS IS" I guarantee this engine to be rebuildable and NO CRACKS in Block. It comes with the carb., air cleaner, starter, intake and exhaust manifold. It looks similar to the pictures in this ad, but it is cleaner, I can get all the numbers etc. for this engine on request. Engine can be delivered by me from Walnutport, Pa. to Manchester, Mich or along the way on my next trip to my Son's place in Mich. The base Cayman cabriolet – sorry, Boxster – now gets a smidgen more power and torque from its 2.7-litre unit, with outputs climbing to 245bhp and 201lb ft. The tweaks shave a tenth off the 0-62mph sprint, reducing it to 6.1sec, and improve fuel economy by 1mpg to 30.4.
