Clear Lens/Red Led Tail Lights + Gaskets (2 + 2) How about this brand new pair of custom led tail lights for your favorite ride? Custom? Lead Sled? Car Hauler? Harley? They are similar to the early Buick and Pontiac tail lights. The chrome die cast metal bezel is 3/4" thick by 4 5/16" OD. The led insert features 41 super bright red leds and is 1 3/4" thick by 3" OD. They are 12 volt. The circuit boards are epoxy coated fully sealed units. This listing is for 2 lights and gaskets as shown. We also stock the led flasher you will need. Lots of neat stuff in the Classic Car Goodies Store (currently over 1,000 items!). Studiotorino unveils Porsche Cayman-based Moncenisio
Tue, 25 Mar 2014Studiotorino is an Italian coachbuilder, based in the city that its name suggests -- on the banks of the Po River, deep in the heart of Turin. It came to prominence thanks to a smattering of projects: a buttressed, fastback Mercedes-Benz SL, a Fiat 500 named after beloved Italian pulp hero Diabolik and a Maserati Quattroporte wagon that they appropriately renamed "Cinqueporte." But Studiotorino is also infatuated with the Porsche Cayman. To that end, the firm has introduced the Moncenisio, a Rhapsody in Blue rebody of the Typ 981 that aims to do for German sports cars what Figoni et Falaschi did for the Delahaye and what Porcubimmer Motors did for a BMW 3-Series.

Wed, 28 Jan 2004Where last year's Detroit Auto Show was all about horsepower and luxury, this year's show was more muted, with few truly outstanding cars making shockwaves. The main contender, the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, didn't create anything like the reaction of the Cadillac Sixteen last year and seemed a bit late to the party, with its massive power and excessive styling. And after all the hype, shouldn't it have been a Dodge, the power brand of DaimlerChrysler, rather than just a Chrysler?For the past couple of years the show has been dominated by truck and SUV launches, so it was good to see the focus shifting back towards cars once again.
Porsche, Volkswagen work out more sale details, may use Auto Union name
Thu, 13 Aug 2009Porsche and Volkswagen have broadly agreed on sale terms, and the name Auto Union may be resurrected, Reuters reports. The new entity could be led by Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn, and Porsche would retain some independence--similar to Audi's setup within the Volkswagen Group. Porsche would be the 10th brand in the company.
