You are looking at a freshly
rebuilt Rochester # 7005922 1bbl carburetor with an automatic choke for a 1954
Chevrolet with a 235 Cu In. engine.
Throttle base casting # is 7003538 with the number 5922 stamped into it. Float
housing # is 7003536. There is no tag on this carburetor but the numbers
indicate it is a 7005922. It does fit on a chevy 6 cyl – 235 and the later 261
and 250 manifolds. This carburetor has been completely rebuilt.The distance between the mounting holes, center to center is 2-15/16 inches.

The Carburetor has been completely disassembled.

All parts have
been media blasted before soaking in a special cleanser for 24 hours.

All passages are
free and cleared.

The Power Piston
has been polished to ensure smooth performance.

A new Power Spring and Check Ball have been installed.

A new Pump Discharge Guide, Spring and Ball have been
installed.
·
A new Accelerator Pump Assembly has been installed.

A new Needle Seat Assembly and Gasket have been installed.
·
The Float Assembly has been tested for leaks and replaced if
necessary.

New Brass Bushings for the throttle shaft have been
installed.

The Idle Adjusting Needle is inspected for wear or damage
and replaced if necessary.

This carburetor
was tested on a 1955 chevy truck 235 engine, and runs beautifully.
It has been coated with
gasoline and oil resistant paint.

Cadillac ATS coupe confirmed

Several dealers told Automotive News they were shown an ATS coupe at a national dealer meeting in Las Vegas this month.
