This antenna is for the 1951 and 1952 Pontiacs cars. It has the original Chrome bezel [Perfect chrome]with black cap nut or acorn nut. It has a 3 section heavy Chrome antenna mast with a 55" BIG leadin coax. The antenna body is 27"s long and goes all way down to the bottom of Fender as a brace. The mast is 21"s down and extends to 51"s. I have sold many of these antennas and they are very rare and is original and the body has been refurbished. It has a small hole in lower tube, but it will work just fine,as I will fix the hole before shipping to you. Mullin Museum 'opens,' still no public date
Fri, 16 Apr 2010The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif., "opened" Thursday night with a gala Art Deco affair that did splendid justice to the beautiful cars, photos and furniture inside. Models dressed in period costume with period 'dos draped themselves over what are arguably the world's most beautiful Bugattis, Delages, Delahayes, Talbot-Lagos, Voisins and Hispano-Suizas. Similarly clad guests strolled about the perfect period decor, perfect right down to the Art Deco pillars holding up the ecologically friendly roof.
NHTSA investigates 2011-12 Ford Mustang for gearbox problems
Mon, 08 Aug 2011The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration has opened a preliminary investigation into 26,000 manual-equipped Ford Mustangs from model years 2011 to 2012, the organization said on Sunday. NHTSA has received 32 complaints of an inability to shift gears, some nearly resulting in crashes. The complaints range from the grinding of gears to the complete lockout of others.
