Mukwonago, Wisconsin, US
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL MERC-O-MATIC TRANSMISSION AND TURBO-DRIVE TRANSMISSION MANUAL. IT COVERS MERC-O- MATIC 1951-1955 AND 1955 LINCOLN TURBO-DRIVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. THE FOLLOWING IS FROM THE MANUAL " THE TURBO-DRIVE TRANSMISSION IS FUNDAMENTALLY THE SAME AS THE 1955 MERC-O-MATIC TRANSMISSION, BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN PARTS AND ASSEMBLIES WHICH WILL BE PECULIAR TO THIS TRANSMISSION ONLY." THEN IT LISTS THE PARTS AND DESCRIBES THE DIFFERENCES. THE MANUAL IT'S SELF IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME LIGHT SOILING AND EDGE WARE TO THE COVERS. THE INSIDE PAGES ARE CLEAN, I DID NOT FIND ANY EXTRA WRITING, STAINS, GREASE MARKS OR DAMAGE AND THE BINDING IS TIGHT.
