1953 1954 CHEVROLET 53 CHEVY 54 "D" PILLAR LEFT REAR & RIGHT REAR MIDDLE SIDE GARNISH MOLDINGS STATION WAGON 150 210 BEL AIR OEM

Up on this auction is a set of used 1953 1954 CHEVROLET 53 CHEVY 54 "D" PILLAR LEFT DRIVER SIDE REAR and RIGHT PASSENGER SIDE REAR MIDDLE GARNISH MOLDINGS STATION WAGON 150 210 BEL AIR OEM for your car.  These Original GM parts are correct for the 1953 Chevrolet 4 door Station Wagon model 150 210 Handyman or Townsman Wagons or the 1954 Bel Air Townsman as well as the model 150 and 210 Handyman Wagons.  These D pillar rear middle garnish molding would be correct for any of the 1953 or 1954 Chevrolet Handyman Station Wagons or the Townsman wagons.  The D pillar is the post around the lift gate and tail gate.  These middle side rear D pillar garnish moldings might fit other GM cars such as the Pontiac so be sure to verify your application.  I do have all the garnish moldings available for the B, C and D pillars and can sell them as a set or by each.  I have many Station Wagon parts available such as garnish molding, tail gate molding, stainless steel trim, lower door kickpanels and many other parts.  I also have a front Station Wagon or 4 door Sedan seat and a rear seat cushion for the Handyman wagon.  I also have many parts for the Hardtops, Sedans and some parts for the Convertible and Sedan Delivery.  Please send a DETAILED message for which parts you need.  I will combine the shipping cost for multiple purchases.

This auction includes the parts as pictured for your Chevrolet 4 door Handyman or Townsman Station Wagons being the left & right rear side middle D pillar garnish moldings and doesn't include items NOT pictured.  The D pillar is the post around the lift gate and tail gate.  The left middle D pillar garnish molding has some surface rust and some deep metal pitting.  This trim does have some rust thru on the upper side & towards the bottom.  The small rust thru holes could be repaired and are both very small holes.  The right side middle molding is in better condition with surface rust and some deep metal pitting.  Both middle garnish moldings are solid except where noted so please review pictures.  These D pillar middle garnish moldings are very difficult to find in any usable condition and I do have a left side listed on another auction..  The part was carefully removed, always keeping in mind that this part would be re-installed in another old Classic Chevrolet.

FYI- The model Bel Air VIN starts with a "C", the model 210 VIN starts with a "B" and the model 150 VIN starts with an "A".  The 1953 Chevy wagon had the model 150 Handyman wagon and had two different 210 models one was the Handyman and the other was the Townsman.  In 1954 Chevy also had the three wagons available which was the model 150 & 210 Handyman as well as the new model Bel AIr Townsman wagon.  The Handyman Station Wagon is the car with two seats and is a 6 passenger.  The 8 passenger Townsman Station Wagon has the shorter second seat, a third seat and has sliding rear quarter windows which is the 8 passenger.

There is one picture that shows where the middle rear side garnish molding would be installed  and is for reference ONLY.  The car is not included in this auction!

I have MANY other chrome pieces available for the 2 and 4 door model 210's and Belair chrome which will be listed and sold only thru eBay.  Also have lots of Hardtop "Sport Coupe" stainless steel trim available.

I have several seats available for purchase (only thru eBay) for the 1953 & 1954 Chevrolet or Pontiac.  The current inventory of front seats is 2 each bench seats for the 4 door.  These 4 door front seats can be disassembled and shipped but will have an additional $25.00 preparation charge.  The rear seat available for the Hardtop / Sport Coupe (no post cars) are 1 each rear bottom cushion back seat.  Note: The Hardtop rear seats can be modified to fit the Convertible.  My inventory of rear seats for the Sedan (post style cars) are 1 each of the rear upper back seats which are the same for the 2 or 4 door Sedan.  I have NONE each of the seat bottom cushions for the 2 door Sedan, and 3 each seat bottom cushions for the 4 door Sedan.  I would perfer to have these seats picked up but could be shipped using Greyhound Bus Lines with prior arrangements.

I also have many many parts for the 1953 & 54 Chevrolet Belair, 210, and 150 models including chrome, frames, doors, hoods, instrument clusters & etc so please email with your needs and all purchases will go thru Ebay.  I have also recently purchased a 1953 Chevrolet Station Wagon Handyman model 150 that will be parted.

Top Gear filming in China for new series

Mon, 05 Dec 2011

Clarkson & May filming for Top Gear in China Escaping from the furore over his One Show comments, Jeremy Clarkson is in China with James May filming for Top Gear. After all the grief over his One Show comments (which, although a bit OTT, were actually not his views but an attempt to humorously demonstrate the BBC’s obsession with ‘balance’), Jeremy Clarkson has decamped to China – together with James May – to film for an episode of the new series of Top Gear. It looks like the piece they’re filming revolves around Chinese car clones, with the Shuanghuan Noble (Smart), Shuanghuan CEO (X5) and the Chinese version of MINI – the Lifan 320.
