NOS genuine GM convertible top pump hoses, upper and lower, part numbers 4628211 (upper) and 4628212 (lower).

These fit 1953 Buick Special convertible only. No other models, no other years. They also are not interchangeable with other GM Divisions, according to my Buick Parts Books.

Brand new, still in original GM boxes. These hoses are in perfect condition, and show no signs whatsoever of being almost 60 years old. No cracking, no checking, no stiffness, etc. They obviously have been stored in almost ideal conditions.

Drink Drive Message Failing As One In 15 Fail Breath-Tests

ROAD safety charity Brake has issued an appeal to the public to not drink and drive this summer and all year-round, as figures from the Association of Chief Police Officer's (ACPO) summer drink drive enforcement campaign, show one in 15 of those breath-tested were over the limit. During the national campaign, which ran from 1 June to 30 June, 63,688 breath tests were administered, of which 4,108 (6.5%, or one in 15) were failed or refused. This is 1.3% more than during the 2013 campaign.

Lotus NOT for sale - at least not for two years Despite rumours that Lotus was for sale, the sale of Lotus parent Proton to DRB-Hicom appears to preclude any sale of Lotus for two years. We reported recently that Lotus owners Proton had been advised to sell its loss-making Hethel car-maker Lotus as it geared up to be divested of State ownership in Malaysia. But it seems the sale of Proton in to private hands is to have the opposite effect.
