The item is an Original good used 1953 Chevy 6 cylinder engine, it came out of conventional Chevy truck, It is a 235 cu.in. engine, it is complete, has the downdraft manifold and carb., it turns over, engine was in running condition, cast number is 3835692, date is I-15-2. Crank cast no. is 388550. I ran this engine years ago in my engine running stand, it ran pretty good. I removed the pistons and rods, It is very clean. I would recommend to tear it down and go over it complete, So you are buying it "AS IS" I guarantee this engine to be rebuildable and NO CRACKS in Block. It comes with the carb., intake and exhaust manifold, I can get all the numbers etc. for this engine on request. Engine can be delivered by me from Walnutport, Pa. to Manchester, Mich or along the way on my next trip to my Son's place in Mich.
