I have a 1954 Pontiac 268 straight eight engine and 4 speed Hydra-Matic transmission out of a 1954 Pontiac. The engine turns over, but needs rebuilt. The cylinder head is just laying on it. The transmission condition is unknown. The dual-range transmission is the same 1952-1954. The 268 engine was used from 1950-1954. However, either can be used in older cars. The transmission has an extra gear selector compared to the older Hydra-Matics.
No starter, carburetor, or intake/exhaust manifold. I have most everything else for it (water pump, generator, fan, pulleys, regulator, distributor, wires, loom, coil) Great for parts or rebuild.
