55 56 57 58 59  CHEVY TRUCK SPEEDOMETER BEZEL.  BEZEL WAS CLEANED, BUFFED AND SHINEY  WITH   MINOR PITTING. LENS IS GOOD. HOUSING SANDBLASTED AND PAINTED.  ABOVE DRIVER QUALITY.     Oct 5, 2004 - Seventeen final year students at London's Royal College of Art postgraduate Vehicle Design course displayed their work in the second part of the internationally renowned annual summer show. Linda Andersson presented 'Punk', a Ford V8 sports car aimed at drivers aged 45-60, who can afford expensive products.

    Daimler to build a fifth Mercedes-Benz model at its Alabama plant

    Daimler AG said it will invest $350 million to produce a fifth Mercedes-Benz model at its factory in Vance, Ala., starting in 2015. The investment will create an additional 400 jobs at the plant. The company did not provide details about the additional vehicle.

    Porsche Panamera to receive long-wheelbase treatment for 2012

    Porsche is developing a long-wheelbase version of the Panamera in a bid to satisfy demand for greater rear-seat legroom from customers in North American and China. Details remain sketchy, but insiders at the company's research and development center in Germany have indicated to AutoWeek that the 115-inch wheelbase of today's Panamera will be extended by almost five inches, taking it up to nearly 120 inches. By comparison, the long-wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz S-class boasts a 124-inch wheelbase.
