THIS IS  A NO RESERVE AUCTION, WINING BIDDER GETS IT!!

Here we have an  NOS, NEVER INSTALLED, 1955, 1956 & 1957 FORD THUNDERBIRD FRONT MOTOR MOUNT SUPPORT BRACKET.  I found this bracket at an Old Closed Down Ford Dealership.  Although a little dusty from years on the shelf, it still has the FOMOCO Part No. label on the the backside, although it is no longer readable.  This part is similar to the Y-block Ford truck front motor mount, but I'm not certain if it is interchangeable, so please do your own verification checking.  The Bracket is in NOS, New  Excellent  Condition.   Have questions, need more photos, please ask.

Land Rover builds 1,000,000th Discovery

The 1,000,000th Land Rover Discovery has rolled off the line at the company's Solihull plant in West Midlands in the United Kingdom. To celebrate the milestone, Land Rover is sending the SUV on an 8,000-mile, 13-country “Journey of Discovery” from Birmingham to Beijing for the motor show on April 23. The company did the same thing in 1955 when the first Series 1 rolled off the line.

Mitsubishi i-MiEV (2011) electric car to cost £39,000

The i-MiEV will be one of the first battery cars on sale here, as opposed to the small-scale lease projects such as the Mini E, and will arrive around the same time as the Nissan Leaf EV. Help is at hand to trim that £39k on-the-road price tag.

Google continues autonomous car tests [w/video]

Google is leading the charge towards the production of a fully autonomous car, releasing a video earlier this week of the car being tested on a programmed route. Steve Mahan, who is 95 per cent blind, successfully tested the car with Google engineers and a member of the local police close at hand should something go awry. Google kitted out a Toyota Prius with its software, taking the shape of a spinning cylinder on the car's roof, which senses traffic or activity close to the car and automatically adapts to its situation.
