This is an original carburetor dashpot mounting bracket. It was used on all 1955 and 1956 Holley Ford passenger cars, Thunderbirds and Mercurys with automatic transmission and a Holley 4V carburetor. It was also used on all 1957 Ford passenger cars and Thunderbirds which had the factory optional dual quad setup ("E" model) and the factory supercharged setup ("F") model. This bracket is an assembly line original and includes the pair of original attaching screws with lock washers. Perfect for replacing a missing or damaged carburetor dashpot bracket. Suzuki S-Cross Crossover Concept at Paris
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Suzuki are teasing a new C-Segment Crossover ahead of the Paris Motor Show – the Suzuki S-Cross. We may still all be focussed more on the Olympics than the car world, but the Paris Motor Show is looming next month and the teases and announcement are starting to roll. This morning we had confirmation that the Jaguar F-Type will get its debut at Paris and now we have news of the Suzuki S-Cross Concept, a C-Segment Crossover come SUV which may be a replacement for the Suzuki SX4.
Aston Martin Vantage upgraded for 2012
Wed, 22 Feb 2012Aston Martin's Vantage receives upgrades for 2012, with the base Vantage V8 getting the most attention. The Vantage V8 retains the 4.7-liter, 420-hp V8 and six-speed manual as standard equipment, but it now will be offered with the optional seven-speed Sportshift II from the Vantage S. The automatic transmission has closer ratios, a lower final drive ratio and quicker shifts than the previous Sportshift unit.
