1955 1956 1957 Pontiac Chieftain (2) Dog Dish Hubcaps - (1) Nos Like Chrome/xlnt on 2040-parts.com

These two dog dish caps for '55 '56 and '57 Pontiacs are in very nice condition, only a few tiny dings ("4 footers", as they say).  Each cap has its own unique qualities. The chrome on the first cap is outstanding - it looks as if it was rechromed (but it is original - no "sun pitting" or etching - very lustrous...hard to find one like this).  I polished off the weakening orig. white paint on the center of this one, but left it on the second (for contrast purposes).  The first cap had an expensive coating applied to the reverse side - to make it void from the elements (and rust).  The second is exactly the way it looked from the factory.  The chrome has "sun pitting" - little black dots that you can see close up.  Even though the chrome is different, I'm offering this one with the other because of how straight it is (by far the straightest used '55 to '57 dogdish cap I've ever had).  If you rechrome this one, you'll have two caps with brilliant chrome for the front of your '55 - '57 Poncho.  These are the best mid-fifties Pontiac DD hubcaps I've ever had (out of about 20), and the ONLY ones left.  They are really nice...
