You are looking at a 1955 Buick 322 nailhead V8 original cast iron 4 barrel intake manifold for use with a small base Carter WCFB carburetor. The casting number is 1170617. I don't know if it will fit any other years or engine sizes. Please do your own research before bidding to be sure that this will work for your application. The dash pot with bracket and a fitting on the front that I believe is for vacuum for the power brake booster all are usable. The front passenger ear will need repair and appears to be the only damage to the manifold. The carburetor studs are all good. The Original paint is pretty very good with some visible surface rust, but not too bad, as it came off of a California Car.Great OE piece instead of using a repop. GM recalls the Chevrolet Cruze for possible steering problems
Thu, 05 May 2011General Motors said on Wednesday that it will recall 154,112 Chevrolet Cruze sedans to check for a problem with the steering shaft. A GM spokesman said the issue was discovered when a customer lost steering control in a parking lot but did not have an accident. GM says no accidents have occurred because of the problem.
