This is the timing chain cover from a 1955 Cadillac 331 CID engine. The 331 CID Cadillac engine was used in 1955, 1954 & I think 1953, I think this part would work for these 3 years but I am not 100% sure so please verify for yourself before buying. This is in good used original condition. It has some surface rust from being cleaned and then sitting around in my barn for many years. Would sand off and paint fine. Comes as shown, Sold As Is. Please let me know if you would like any other info. Thanks

I am happy to ship oversea's, and if you purchase multiple parts from me I will put them all in one box, saving you on shipping cost. Canada still offers surface parcel international for oversea's delivery. Please note that every country's postal system is different and handles packages differently. If you are oversea's and choose surface parcel it can take 4 - 8 weeks to reach you. Delivery to the US generally takes 10 - 14 days. I ship things the cheapest way possible. If you would like or require faster service please let me know, I can ship Fed-Ex. They are faster, but they are more money than the post office. I have no control over how long the post office takes to deliver. The shipping prices I have listed are for small package surface mail. This is the cheapest way I can send it. There is no insurance and no tracking number. These options as well as air mail are available for an additional cost. Please Ask.

I am parting a 1955 Cadillac, please e-mail me if you are looking for other parts. Thanks

Lamborghini Jota spied testing

Fri, 15 Jan 2010

The Lamborghini Jota caught cold weather testing (via WCF - copyright CarPix) The Murcielago range of Lamborghinis is coming to the end of their shelf life and we have in store the replacement – The Lamborghini Jota - which will be with us in the next year or so. So it’s not a big surprise that Lamborghini have been out testing the new Jota in the Arctic Circle. As we can see from the spy shots, the Jota is going to be similar in size to the Murcielago (which is far too wide for comfort around town) but thanks to a new aluminium space frame will be an awful lot lighter than the Murcielago.

Volkswagen hits back, weighs making a bid for Porsche

Thu, 23 Apr 2009

Volkswagen is considering an audacious reverse-takeover bid for its majority shareholder, Porsche, in a twist in the drawn-out struggle for control between the two German carmakers. The Volkswagen Group's supervisory board is said to be weighing the possibility of purchasing Porsche AG, in a move that would relieve its holding company, Porsche SE, of massive debt that industry analysts suggest the company may not be able to fund should the world's financial crisis drag on well into 2010--a scenario put forward this week by the International Monetary Fund. The secret plan emerged as shareholders were set to convene at Volkswagen's annual meeting on Thursday, and it comes after Porsche revealed that it is carrying some 9 billion euros ($11.73 billion) in debt, most of it owing to interest on loans taken out to purchase its 50.8 percent stake in VW.

F1: Mercedes sticks with McLaren – Brawn still likely

Mon, 02 Nov 2009

Mercedes are sticking with McLaren for the 2010 season - but probably Brawn GP too. As the F1 season drew to a close at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi yesterday, the whole of the top end of Mercedes Benz management was on hand. They had expected to see Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes McLaren waltz to a win, but had to settle for simply powering the world champion – Jenson Button – to victory this year and claiming third and fourth place at the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
