The new advert for the SEAT Altea XL - featuring the 'Brother Monster' The Altea XL certainly offers more room – particularly more storage room – than the original Altea. They missed a trick by not making the back seats slide back more (they do slide forward to give a pretty big load space), but they did manage to address the storage issues. The 2009 SEAT Altea XL And 2009 saw a facelift for the Altea – as well as the Leon on which it’s based – and SEAT have been running out adverts to promote it.

Hyundai has launched a new range-topping model for the i30 range – the Hyundai i30 Premium – with most of Hyundai’s extras as standard. The latest Hyundai i30 is a very good car indeed, far removed from the cheap and cheerful i30s that went before, offering good looks, decent ride and handling, a comprehensive 5 year warranty and is bolted together as well as any other car in its sector. EU environment commissioner Stavros Dimas is expected to announce the shock new directive in the next few days - it's designed to force companies to meet tough targets or face big fines. CAR Online has uncovered details of the proposals before they are published.
