Classic Chevy Enterprises II This is a used 1956 Chevy BelAir right(passenger side) rear bumper guard. This is being sold as a core for rechrome. Scratches and pitting on surface. Pitting inside, no rust holes - excellent for rechrome. Not cracked or bent. Will plate nicely. Will fit all 1956 Chevy full size passenger car models except Nomad and station wagons. All items listed are old used car parts unless otherwise stated. Invoices usually are sent within 48 hours, I'm not always at my computer 24-7 - especially on weekends. We cannot offer automatic combined shipping on our items because of size and weight issues. Please ask for combined shipping if you win more than one item before paying. Guzzler program still operating; White House searches for funds
Fri, 31 Jul 2009The federal cash-for-guzzlers program continues to operate this morning despite dealer reports that it was to be suspended at midnight last night because it was approaching its $1 billion limit. "It is not suspended," a White House spokeswoman, who asked not to be named, said in an interview today. "We continue to assess the program and its budget." National Automobile Dealers Association spokesman Bailey Wood said Thursday that the group had been told by Transportation Department officials of plans to suspend the program after just six days.

Subaru recalls 275,000 Foresters for seatbelt fix
Thu, 15 Mar 2012Subaru will recall certain Forester models produced in model years 2009-11. About 275,000 of the small SUVs could be affected by a problem with the automatic locking retractor in the seatbelt assembly. In the recall announcement, Subaru says the assemblies do not meet federal motor-vehicle safety standards for occupant crash protection.
