This is an NOS pair of door striker plates, Ford part #B6A 7022008-A and B6A 7022009-A. These striker plates are assembly line originals used on all 1956 Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys. It was replaced with a three piece design striker plate in 1957.  They were used on both the front and rear doors on Ford passenger cars, Lincoln's and Mercurys.  They are one of the CTCI excellence in authenticity items, perfect for a concours restoration! Infiniti to build new Mercedes A Class based model in UK

The new Infiniti premium hatch, based on the underpinnings of the new Mercedes A Class and looking like the Etherea Concept, will be built in the UK. Infiniti announced only yesterday that it is introducing a new nomenclature for its cars (Q for saloons/coupes and QX for SUVs/Crossovers) and all new cars will come with a Q at the beginning followed by a number to denote its hierarchy in the Infiniti range. Where exactly that leaves the name of the new ‘baby’ Infiniti, we’re not exactly sure (Q30 or Q40 seems the most likely), but we are pretty sure what it will look like and what will be under the skin.

Jaguar has a hit already with the F-Type convertible, the brand's first two-seat sports car in almost four decades. "Half of the first year's production of the F-Type is already sold," said global brand director Adrian Hallmark. Customers who order the car now will be lucky to get one by the end of this year, he said.
