Condition:Used

This is a real "correct" Corvette only oil pan used on all late 56' Corvettes after about VIN 1650 and all Corvettes from 57-60, regardless of engine. It is also the only correct pan for hydraulic cam engines in 61-62. There are a lot of pans listed on eBay as correct, they are similar in style but have the incorrect trap door. That replacement pan was sold over the counter for years. This is the only correct pan currently on e bay. There was an extensive article from last summer in the NCRS Restorer magazine that goes into detail on what makes a correct pan. This was It is part of a large estate of rare Corvette parts that were accumulated in the 60's and early 70'. There are some clones of this pan out there, but a real undisturbed pan is very hard to find. I have left this pan exactly as I found it so you can see that it is absolutely original.

This is the first time any of these parts have been for sale. Please call me if interested as I have these parts listed locally and reserve the right to remove the listing ant any time. For my best price call Todd Spain (563)-678-2706 (days).

Also check out our other listings for other extremely rare early Corvette parts from this estate.
