Here is a very nice used front bumper off of a 1958 Plymouth Suburban 2 door station wagon. This bumper is perfectly straight, and unusual occurrence on a 55 year old used bumper. The chrome is nice also. It does have some scratches and one small ding, (I'm pointing to it in the photo). You have to look real hard to see it. There is the usual surface rust on the back, but it's not deep. This bumper could be polished and used as is, it's that good. Brackets are included. The little brackets on the ends that connect to the fenders have not fared so well and would need to be repaired/replaced.

A word about shipping: I'm happy to ship any part anywhere in the world. As you may or may not know, eBay penalizes sellers by charging them a percentage of the shipping cost. This is dishonest and unfair, but I need eBay more than they need me. On this auction shipping will be billed separately from the price of the part. That is, after you pay for the bumper, I'll send you a second invoice through PayPal for the shipping. Because of the large size, shipping will be around $80 +/- to lower 48 states. If after I get the bumper all packed up nicely and get the actual shipping price from FedEx, you feel the shipping is too high, you are under no obligation to buy the part and I'll promptly refund the full original purchase price.

NOT AVAILABLE TO GA RESIDENTS UNLESS YOU E-MAIL ME FIRST. A group of scammers in GA have caused me considerable grief in the past. Since eBay does little to protect its sellers, I have to protect myself. I apologize in advance to all my good, honest, hard working brothers and sisters in the beautiful state of Georgia.

Satisfaction guaranteed or money back.

Thanks, -MHC

Peugeot 508 Estate (SW) ‘AllRoad’ Spied

Wed, 09 Feb 2011

Peugeot 508 SW 'Allroad' We’re only just starting to see the Peugeot 508 – the replacement for both the 407 and 607 – hitting roads in Europe, but already we’re starting to see evidence that Peugeot aren’t going to be settling for just the Saloon and the Estate. It looks like Peugeot are intending having a crack at Audi and their Allroad A6 if the spy photo we grabbed is anything to go by. But if this is 4WD – and it almost certainly is – what sort of 4WD is it running?

Lazzarini Design creates Ferrari-powered Fiat 500

Fri, 22 Jun 2012

If you saw the Fiat Abarth 659 Tributo Maserati car and thought to yourself, “That's just not enough razzle-dazzle,” then maybe this will strike your speed-seeking fancy. It's a Fiat 500 powered by one of the best engines in the world—the 4.5-liter V8 from the Ferrari Italia. Lazzarini Design came up with the concept, and the company says it's waiting for an investor with $550,000 burning a hole in his or her pocket to give building one a shot.

Morgan celebrates 100 years – and a new model

Wed, 31 Dec 2008

There aren’t many car makers around the world who have been in business for 100 years, and even fewer that have remained in the same family for all that time. But Morgan, that maker of anachronistic 1930s-style cars, is not only still going strong, it is celebrating its 100 year anniversary in 2009, and is now the only remaining British-owned car maker in existence (aside from the ‘Garden-Shed’ makers).
