Phoenix, Arizona, United States
Condition:Used

We have owned 3 1957 Eldorado quarter panels for years planning on turning them into a wall hanger for our restoration shop with the quarter, a door and a fender welded together to look like the side of a 1957 Eldo convertible.

We have 2 right large side stainless quarter panels pieces also, not included in this auction.

But years pass and we have not done that yet and it is time to clear out the cobwebs.

So, here’s a left side 1957 Eldorado quarter panel for sale,

PLEASE NOTE, THE POTMETAL CHROME ON TOP OF THE FIN IN NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION!

NO RUST REPAIR NEEDED, only surface rust in a few places.

The quarter came with a lot of 1955-60 Cadillac parts we bought years ago that had been stored in the dry high desert in Southern California.

There’s a ding or a dent, see pictures but the panel is dry and rust free.

Don’t spend days or weeks welding on rusted Cadillac sheet metal when you can buy dry and rust free metal like this piece!

We have the right side quarter in a separate auction.

The quarter is at our restoration shop in Down Town Phoenix, Arizona and can be picked up there or it can be strapped to a pallet and sent via truck freight.

Since 1986 we have packed and sent containers with cars and parts to Sweden so we offer inexpensive shipping for our Scandinavian customers.

Concept Car of the Week: Oldsmobile Aerotech (1987)

In late 1984, Oldsmobile management had so much confidence in the potential of its new inline four-cylinder engine Quad 4, that a small team was assigned to the creation of the Aerotech, a research vehicle designed to demonstrate the engine's performance by setting a new world speed record. Ed Welburn, then assistant chief designer, was mostly working on the 1988 Cutlass Supreme but his passion for race cars made him the ideal candidate to be handed the assignment by Oldsmobile 2 studio's chief David North. Inspired by Le Mans racers such as the Porsche 917LH and Jim Hall's Chaparrals, he designed a long, flowing car that immediately seduced design director Chuck Jordan and GM management.
