Condition:Used Brand:Chevrolet Other Part Number:F226FC engine code Manufacturer Part Number:3731548 block casting number

This engine has been sitting in the engine bay of an old Willys truck in a barnyard for the last 30 years. The owner didn't know anything about the motor other than he "thought" it was a 283. It turns out it's a 1957 283 with a factory 4-barrel built in Flint. The block casting # is 3731548, and the stamped engine code is F226FC. It's complete, shows no sign of trauma, and looked like it was in running condition when last parked. The dipstick shows very clean oil, about a half a quart low. I've tried to turn it over by hand only, and it does not want to move. I have not tried to force the issue.

For many – me included – it was at the very top of the heap most desirable cars at Salon Prive. And praise comes no higher.

Kia’s radical new concept car is the Niro crossover, complete with butterfly doors, two-tone tyres and a Blake 7 cockpit in the best show car tradition. Look past the design flourishes, though, and you’ll see this is a statement of intent for Kia’s next niche car: a supermini-sized crossover to fight the Nissan Juke, Renault Captur, and Vauxhall Mokka. Kia Niro: what’s in a name?

Smart Forvision Concept points at new Fortwo

Smart Forvision Concept - a pointer to the 3rd generation Fortwo Just as they do with Maybach, Mercedes persist with Smart. Despite the fact that both outings must cost an arm and a leg to keep going with, as far as we know, no profits ever. And that perseverance seems unlikely to end any time soon – at least for Smart – with the reveal of the Smart Forvison Concept, which is heading for Frankfurt.
