This is a 1957 Chevy Corvette 230HP 283ci engine distributor. It is in beautiful shape and moves freely. I happened upon a long-forgotten treasure trove of point type GM distributors at a wrecking yard that had them stored inside and had them sorted. They were all pull-offs and may or may not still run. I am starting the bid at half of what they normally go for on Ebay, so get it while you can.

Of course, it’s the new Lexus RC-F Coupe and even though Lexus don’t say as much, they do go as far as to say that the new F model will have ‘Half the doors, twice the roar’. While he hurried to empty his shopping trolley in the heavy rain I stayed lovely and dry under the protection of the enormous tailgate as I leisurely unloaded mine. This will never be a particularly cool car but the cool level must rise ever so slightly when other motorists express a sliver of envy, if only for that one small thing.
Audi, Honda, Hyundai, and GM to bring Android to cars
Tue, 07 Jan 2014General Motors, Audi, Honda and Hyundai have joined forces with Google and Nvidia to form the Open Automotive Alliance (OAA), their overarching goal being the integration of Google's Android software into automotive infotainment systems. The OAA will use Android's open development model to bring a greater variety of functions to car infotainment systems, which have noticeably lagged behind smartphones when it comes to capability due to long development periods, fast changing technology, and a glut variety of incompatible systems. The alliance's first order of business will be to develop new Android platform features to enable the car to become a connected Android device.
