This is an original water pump to fan blade spacer which was used on all 1957 factory supercharged Thunderbirds. The supercharger brackets necessitated that the fan blade be placed closer to the radiator. This spacer is an assembly line original which has the Ford engineering # raised in the casting. Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or aftermarket spacer with a factory original. The Genk Plant makes the Ford Mondeo and the Galaxy and S-Max (which are built on the Mondeo platform) and, at its peak, was building over 300,000 Mondeos and over 100,000 MPVs. But by last year the Mondeo production had dropped below 100,000 mark and MPV production had dropped to 80,000.
UK 2011 car sales analysis: winners and losers

Brits bought 1,941,253 vehicles last year as private motorists put off that new car purchase and stuck with their existing wheels or went secondhand. Retail sales took the brunt of the fall, with a 14% collapse on 2010's figures.
