Here we have a NEW OR RE-CHROMED FOMOCO 1957 FORD THUINDERBIRD LEFT SIDE GRILLE MOLDING. I purchased this from an old Ford Dealership. I purchased it from a Closed Down Ford Dealership. Typical of Ford's Quality, the part is not perfect. BUT! .... The chrome finish is Very presentable and would look Great on your classic T-bird. I have an NOS, in the Ford Box (although the box is for the left side), Right Side Molding listed on another of my ebay listings. I purchased many original Fomoco parts from this dealer and I'll be listing more shortly. These are Original Fomoco Parts, not some Cheap Off-Shore knock offs. I will be listing the left side molding shortly... I charge actual shipping cost, never any packing or additional charges.. 2009 EyesOn Design Awards
Thu, 22 Jan 2009The winners at the fourth annual EyesOn Design Awards held at the 2009 NAIAS in Detroit last week read like a serving of alphabet soup, with the top awards going to Audi, BMW and Cadillac. Presided over by 20 top design executives from automotive manufacturers and by academics from transportation design programs, the EyesOn Design awards are presented by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO) - an internationally recognized non-profit organization known for helping the blind and visually impaired. And actually, this morning’s Tiff Needell story ties in with tonight’s Top Gear as it’s got Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. But that’s not the main piece tonight; that honour goes to the boy’s trip up the East Coast USA.
Jaguar & Land Rover eschew Detroit for Delhi
Thu, 03 Nov 2011The Jaguar C-X16 will be on show at the Delhi Motor Show in January. Although Jaguar Land Rover has revealed that it won’t be exhibiting at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show in January – instead it will be out in force at the Delhi Motor Show – it’s really not a huge deal. Motor Show exhibiting is an expensive business, and despite JLR’s strong sales, costs are a factor.
