This is an original reinforcement plate for the trunk latch or lock which was used exclusively on all 1957 Thunderbirds. This plate fits inside the
trunk lid. The trunk latch is secured to the underside of the trunk lid by the four screws which go thru the trunk lid and screw into this threaded plate. Perfect for replacing a missing, or damaged reinforcement plate. The previous two generations of CR-V were based on Civic platforms and the latest all-new model continues that concept, being based on the new Civic architecture launched last year.
Jeep shows six Moab Easter Jeep Safari concepts
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Jeep introduced six concepts headed for the Moab Easter Jeep Safari next week. Three of the off-road ready concepts were based on the Wrangler, two on the new Cherokee and the last was a gently warmed over version of the Grand Cherokee. This is the 12th year that the Jeep brand is participating in the event, but it'll be the 48th Easter Jeep event overall.
