These original AC dual quad filters were found wrapped in a paper sack in a box with a lot of other original air and oil filters for these cars in factory boxes. They are in excellent condition after being in dry storage for over 40 years. These fit 58 and 59 Chrysler 300 letter cars, Desoto Adventurer, Dodge Super D 500 and Plymouth Fury with dual quads. They do not fit 57 Mopars with dual quads but I have another listing with those filters. I took some of these pictures with a flash, some in bright sunlight and some without flash in normal light as different lighting makes the parts easier to see. If you would like a specific picture please ask. I have many more parts for 58 and 59 Mopars I will be listing soon including dome lights, mirrors, horn rings and many small detail parts.

Shipping price shown is to the United States. If you wish to have them sent elsewhere please request a shipping price before purchasing. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple item purchases whenever possible.

Thanks for looking and please check out my other listings for more 55-69 Mopar parts with more added almost daily.

80mph limit plans 'to be revisited'

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

SHELVED PLANS to raise the motorway speed limit to 80mph will need to be revisited, a transport minister said as he declined to say whether he ever broke the current law to drive at that speed. Stephen Hammond said ministers were split on the move - which was unveiled with a fanfare by Philip Hammond in 2011 but then axed from the agenda by successors as transport secretary. Polling suggests a 10mph increase in the maximum allowed on the network would be extremely popular among motorists - and the transport minister recognised "a lot" already drove at the higher speed.

Sky takes Mazda powertrains to the next level

Mon, 30 Aug 2010

Mazda's next-generation of powertrains, called Sky, will feature a variety of new technologies that company engineers say improve fuel efficiency by 20 percent. The Sky engines--Sky-G for the gasoline version, Sky-D for diesel--coupled with a Sky-Drive automatic transmission or a six-speed manual, were offered for test drives during a technology day in Berlin. The Sky-G engine we drove was a 2.0-liter inline-four that made 160 hp and 155 lb-ft of torque.
