Porsche to add 1,000 employees

To keep pace with its planned model expansion and sales targets, Porsche AG will add more than 1,000 employees by 2015, Automotive News Europe has learned from Volkswagen Group sources. About 500 jobs will be added for production of Porsche's new compact SUV, codenamed the Cajun, which will go on sale in 2013 in Europe and in North America about six months later. Porsche's supervisory board will make a decision on the production location of the Cajun in mid-March.

2013 Range Rover Leaks

We have the first photo of the 2013 Range Rover ahead of an official reveal and debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. UPDATE: It seems there are copyright issues with the photo we have of the 2013 Range Rover (the photo was not leaked by Land Rover as some may have suspected)  so Land Rover has requested we take it down. Chinese brands are narrowing the quality gap with foreign automakers

When it comes to vehicle quality, domestic Chinese brands are catching up to their global peers, according to the 2010 China Initial Quality Study published by J.D. Power and Associates. The consultancy found that the quality gap between domestic and foreign brands has reached its narrowest margin in the survey's 11-year history.
