1958-59 Evinrude 35 HP Lark Outboard Motor. 15 inch length shaft. Here is probably one of the cleanest and lowest time Evinrude Lark outboard motors out there. I have been collecting outboard motors for about 40 years now and have never come across a cleaner all original motor. Even has the original spark plugs that came in the motor from the factory.  Motor has NEVER seen salt water.  I estimate by the looks of the motor that it has less than 50 hrs total time. Cannot guarantee that.  I had the motor fired up last summer and it ran fine. I store it in my heated house.
Has Electric Start and comes with the electrical harness to the key switch and battery. . Motor also has one of those rare Adjustable Pitch Propellers installed.
If you ever find another Evinrude Lark motor of this vintage in this condition ever again, it won't be for sale.
Only issues are the scrapes and blemishes in the paint here and there from sitting around all its life.

Shipping is available and cost of shipping depends on buyers location.  I no longer ship motors open on a pallet anymore because of continual damage inflicted on my motors by the shippers so this outboard motor will be crated and then secured to a pallet. . I have found a new shipping company, Fastenal to use now.  For 175.00 additional fee,  I will crate the motor on a pallet and deliver the motor to Tacoma Washington to the Fastenal Distributor for shipping.  I prefer Fastenal for there prices are good and there careful with handling. Any other type of shipping will have to be arranged with me before hand.
You will need to go online and go to  Fastenal and click on the   Logistics button to take you to the Logistics page. There you can get a quote on shipping. Or call TAWYNA  at Fastenal Logistics at 317-472-4402.  She will be gladd to help you set up shipping.

You can tell them that the Motor  will be shipped from the Tacoma Washington Lakewood distribution center.
725 47th Ave SW street
Lakewood, WA 98409
(253) 983-1561
The Outboard Motor  will be enclosed in a crate and secured  on a standard size pallet and weighs about 150bs. .  Questions call me at 360-473-7104

EPA makes it official--greenhouse gases are pollutants

Tue, 08 Dec 2009

On the eve of an international climate summit, the EPA on Monday formally declared greenhouse gases to be dangerous pollutants, strengthening President Barack Obama's hand and laying the groundwork for a new 35.5 mpg standard for light vehicles. The finding is likely to have a greater impact on electric utilities, oil companies and manufacturers than on the auto industry. The EPA's scientific finding reported that these gases “are the primary driver of climate change,” which can intensify heat waves and increase ozone pollution linked to asthma and other respiratory illnesses.

The new Ecoboost engine does that greatĀ trickĀ of offering more power for less emissions and decent economy. The new 2,0 litre model – badged up as the STCi – manages to deliver 200bhp and 221lb/ft of torque which gives a 0-60mph of not a lot over 8 seconds, an improvement of around 2.0 seconds on the outgoing 2.3 litre.
