Tampa, Florida, United States
Used, sitting in a garage unused for many years.
Manufacturer Part Number:3737739 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

I'm clearing out my garage for a few new project so I don't need a lot of parts anymore.

This is a 1958 283 SBC casting# 3737739 Date: A28 (January 2nd 1958) Suffix code: F505D (Assembled in Flint May, 5th as a 180hp 2bbl engine)

I believe the information above makes it a chevy passenger motor used in Buicks, Impalas, and Corvettes from 1958.
This block is a flint block which is were all corvette blocks were cast

I also have left and right heads (X58) for the motor above both 3748772 heads dated D78 and D298. (will upload more pictures soon).

I think off hand that makes them 69cc, 1.72 intake 1.5 exhaust
