1958 Johnson 10 HP Model QD-19 cowling. Not dented but has quite a few scratches and scrapes. Would be a good candidate for a restoration since latches are functional and it isn't dented. Original paint. Decals ok but not great. They don't make them like this anymore. Has the rubber keeper that clips to pull-start.

Sold as-is with no returns. I ship Monday-Friday and orders after Friday at 6 AM (Pacific Time) cannot be shipped until the following Monday.

Please check my other listings where I specialize in vintage outboard parts. Thank you.

Aston Martin DB9 Facelift spied

Tue, 18 May 2010

The 2011 Aston Martin DB9 Facelift There’s a fair bit going on at Aston Martin at the moment, a big change from just a year ago when the recession was causing huge pain. We’ve had the launch of the car the V8 Vantage always threatened to be with the initially limited edition Aston Martin V12 Vantage, and the news that the V12 Vantage is US bound and no longer a limited edition. The big news for AM this year has been the launch (finally) of the most beautiful 4 door car in the world – the Aston Martin Rapide – which frankly could handle like a dog and take 20 seconds to get to 60 mph and we’d still want one, so achingly gorgeous is it by any measure of saloon car gorgeousness.

While, in theory, there appears to have been a glut of new concept and production cars to choose from in Frankfurt, in reality there were less than a handful of marked standout designs. Here are our picks.

The most expensive cars ever: Ferrari 250 GTO sells for $38 million

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 15 August 2014 10:19 A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta sold overnight for a record $38,115,000 (£22,528,626) at the prestigious Bonhams Quail Lodge Auction held during Monterey Car Week. At a stroke, the Ferrari has become the most valuable car in the world, overtaking the 1954 Mercedes W196 R F1 Racer which sold for $30m at an auction at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Tellingly, seven of the top 10 most expensive cars ever sold at auction were Ferraris (see our list below).
