1959, 1960 Chevy Impala Speedometer, Serviced, Reconditioned & 60 Day GUARANTEE

Here is a 1959, 60 Chevy speedometer that we have reconditioned.  It has been cleaned, gears greased, movements lubricated with synthetic watch oil which is not affected by temperature nor does it get sticky with age, odometer reset to 000000, the pointer repainted with the original fluorescent orange, and the back case cleaned and painted inside and out.  The pointer moves freely and responds smoothly when the speedometer was bench tested from zero thru 120 mph.  Both the lens and bezel have been cleaned and polished.  The front chrome trim ring has some very, very minor pitting.  The lens is clear, no cracks, and the numbers are very sharp. This speedometer looks great and is ready to install.  Do verify your application and email with any questions before you bid.  I can also repair/restore your speedometer, 301-518-9699.  Please do read my ebay feedback comments and check out my other ebay items.  Guarantee 100% satisfaction.

Item must be paid for within 5 days of the date of purchase.

Fri, 20 Mar 2009

General Motors and Chrysler clearly have an image problem. In a classic case of: "It's not me--it's you," fewer consumers are considering the two Detroit automakers in the wake of their pleas for government assistance and bankruptcy rumors. The share of buyers who would make a GM car their primary choice fell 12 percent, and the share of Chrysler intenders dropped by one third, according to a study released Thursday by CNW Research of Bandon, Ore.
