 Here's the story on this. I had, for many years, a custom 59 Elcamino. I bought quite a few extra parts to have as backup, in case it ever got hit or damaged. Luckily, it never did. Now that I sold it, the new owner didn't want backup parts like I did. So I'm offering them here. These were bought at a swap meet. Strong springs. No idea on age. No pits, just a little faded chrome. May polish well. Rubbers may need changing. Ams measure 13 inches. Blades are Trico and measure 17 1/2 inches. The metal parts, not the rubbers. In big parts, I have both front fenders (inner and outer), both doors, both bumpers, both new full lower quarter skins, tailgate, front and rear glass, vent windows, and then a ton of small parts. Michelin Challenge Design 2012 'City 2046: Art, Life and Ingenuity' – The Finalists

The jury of the 2012 Michelin Challenge Design has selected and released images of its 27 finalists, chosen from a huge number of designs submitted by aspiring automotive designers. The competition's theme, ‘City 2046: Art, Life and Ingenuity', saw more than 1,700 registrants representing 88 countries which left the jury reviewing over 200 projects. Michelin set all participants a challenging brief, calling for designs for a "desirable, safe and sustainable personal vehicle" specifically for Los Angeles, Mumbai, Paris, Rio de Janeiro or Shanghai.

OnStar tests Facebook updates, text-message reading services

General Motors' OnStar service is launching new features with the latest generation of its technology and is testing applications such as reading text messages and updating social-networking Web sites via voice command. The ninth generation of OnStar's software will let GM car owners use their smartphone to remotely start the engine and lock or unlock their cars. The service is called OnStar MyLink.
