UP FOR AUCTION IS AN EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVED FROM THE RIGHT / PASSENGER SIDE OF A 1960 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE WITH A 389 ENGINE. THE CASTING NUMBER APPEARS TO BE 582311 (OR IT COULD POSSIBLY BE 532811 -- THE 3’S & 8’S ARE HARD TO TELL APART). THERE ARE NO CRACKS OR BREAKS, AND THE HEAT RISER MOVES FREELY, BUT ONE BOLT NEEDS TO BE DRILLED OUT. IT NEEDS TO BE SAND-BLASTED AND RE-PAINTED, BUT OTHERWISE IT IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION.

General Motors to offer car sharing via mobile app and OnStar

In early 2012, GM vehicle owners in California will be able to use the OnStar system to rent out their cars when they aren't using them. The service will available nationwide for OnStar subscribers by the end of the year.

Apple CarPlay to be available on older cars

The radio manufacturers Pioneer and Alpine have both already said they’re working with Apple to introduce the CarPlay software to their existing and new car stereo head units. Apple CarPlay lets you text on the move CarPlay allows you to pair a compatible iPhone (so the iPhone 5, 5S or 5C) with your car infotainment system, controlling the voice, touchscreen and buttons through the car’s in-built screen.
