The difference is the mounting brackets used, both inside and outside, on the truck. Both styles were made by Unity. This NO RESERVE auction is for the rare LEFT outside mounting bracket, 141, for the factory installed version. We will include 2 of the correct slotted mounting screws, gasket, drill bushing, 6 page installation instructions, and template. This RARE factory installed outside bracket is to be used with the factory installed inside bracket 8205 LH (listed on another auction). Do Not pass this by! The Scirocco will come with four engines, in TDI and TSI forms, ranging from a 1.4 TSI (120bhp) to a 2.0T (197bhp). Adaptive chassis control will also be available, and prices are expected to be slightly more than the equivalent three-door Golf.

Tue, 01 Mar 2011Infiniti Etherea Concept Despite our gripes that Infiniti seem half-hearted about their entry in to Europe – certainly in terms of their reluctance to get the product under people’s noses – we can’t argue they’re not developing their range to suit the European market. Good case in point is the introduction of diesel lumps across the range, although we find the new Infiniti M35h Hybrid potentially more appealing than the M30d (we’ve surprised ourselves there). And now we get a proper European-sized concept revealed in Geneva – the Infiniti Etherea Concept – which is a compact, pillarless, suicide door endowed 3-Series competitor with a 2.5 litre S/C lump connected to an electric motor and driven through a CVT ‘box.
