Consideration 1960 PONTIAC 389 Tri-Power Engine (Rebuilt) & 3 speed Man Trans... Block casting date - none found Block casting number 536687 Block stamped number from the Right front 180618 A1 Heads casting dates = 59 & 60 Intake casting date = 60 2 bolt motor mounts bell housing mounted starter I bought this motor from a fellow who's father was in bad health and past way last fall And he sold off everything out of his fathers garage He said his dad had this motor rebuilt years ago for a project he started on but lost interest in The car got hauled off but the motor went to the back of the garage and was covered up He didn't remember what model it was, and wasn't into cars The father had bolted a 3 speed Transmission with cast iron bell housing on to it the bell housing has the rear mounts on it (like a 55 Chevy) I removed a valve cover so you could see in side Motor turn free and is complete minus the distributor and generator It didn't have carbs on it, so I bolted on ones that have They are all Rochester Carburetors but not from a tri power setup so, stock lineage would not work, would need to get creative also they will need to be rebuilt Please contact me for shipping quote Rough estimate $400.00 If your not interested in the trans and heavy bell housing, I can remove before shipping to help shipping cost Mike - 417 230 3923 ********** So,please take a look at the pictures to confirm its condition We are along time E-bay sellers with multiple on line storesWe put up for bid a wide range
