Show Quality - original trim restored and anodized back to factory original. Unlike polished trim, this anodized piece will maintain it's finish, without polishing. If you do polish it, you will not get black residue off the trim, like a polished piece.

Up for auction is a 1961 1962 Buick Bubble Top used pair of inside pillar trim.  Original trim which has been stripped, sanded, buffed to a mirror finish and anodized back to factory look.   As good as NOS was in the 60's  --  better than most NOS parts you will find today.  Show Quality - original trim restored and anodized back to factory original.  Unlike polished trim, this anodized piece will maintain it's finish, without polishing.  If you do polish it, you will not get black residue off the trim, like a polished piece.

There are less than two weeks left for European design students to submit their exterior entry to the Car Design News - Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design competition. The competition, which closes to entries on Friday February 11th, asks students to design a lounge exterior, based around the design of one of the three finalists of the interior competition. Mitsubishi to recall i-MiEV to fix airbag sensor

Mitsubishi will recall 261 of the company's 2012 i-MiEV electric vehicle for a potential faulty airbag sensor. According to Mitsubishi, the front airbags could deploy late or not at all during a crash, due to a software compatibility issue. Mitsubishi will notify owners to replace the sensors if their vehicles are affected.

Toyota recalls 2003 Sequoia for stability-control problem

Toyota is recalling thousands of the 2003 Sequoia SUV to repair a potential stability-control problem, the company announced on Wednesday. The recall covers 50,000 of the SUVs produced early in the 2003 model year. The problem is the stability control could activate at too slow of a speed (about 9 mph), limiting the ability of the Sequoia to accelerate.
