1961-1963 Buick Skylark Pontiac Tempest NOS 215 V8 head gasket 1190997

Product Description

NOS genuine GM cylinder head gaskets, .015" thick, part number 1190997. These gaskets were to be used for high compression engines.

These fit:

  • 1961 - 1963 Buick Special and Skylark with 215 V8 aluminum engine
  • 1961 - 1962 Pontiac Tempest with 215 V8 aluminum engine

Picture shows a pair of gaskets inside a factory sealed plastic bag, never opened. However, I already sold that set, so the pair you get will come with no packaging, but they are definitely authentic factory GM gaskets, not aftermarket. They have the correct GM stampings and numbers on them.

Brand new, never installed.

Shipping - Payment

A few words to make things easier.

1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising BEFORE you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.  AND, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.

2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.

Thanks for your bid.

Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max get 1.0 litre EcoBoost

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

Ford has announced that the C-Max and Grand C-Max can now be had with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine with either 100PS or 125PS. It looks like Ford are determined to offer the little 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine in every car they make. In fact, if they still built a proper D-Segement car like the Scorpio it would probably find its way there too.

Renault Captur: Renault’s answer to the Juke at Geneva

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

Renault Captur Concept The Nissan Juke – just like its big brother the Qashqai – has set car makers scrambling to catch up. The funky, urban (very) compact crossover has captured the Zeitgeist. Suddenly you can drive something butch and funky without the eco-mentalists plotting your demise.

Red Bull Racing's X2014 concept car to feature in GT6

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

Red Bull Racing has revealed its X2014 concept car that will feature in the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 racing game. The Formula 1 team's chief technical officer Adrian Newey worked alongside Polyphony Digital to develop the road car, which is obviously very much inspired by F1 car design. Elements such as the F1 car nose and low-hanging front spoiler are proof of this, although the design features headlamps and fenders surrounding the tires.
