Viper sports car division no longer for sale

Rather than killing off its muscle-bound brand, last summer Cerberus-run Chrysler considered selling off the rights to the Viper, hoping to achieve around $10m for the Detroit assembly plant and brand equity to bolster its dwindling cash reserves and stave off imminent bankruptcy. After an initial surge of interest from similar-minded companies like Roush and Saleen, curiosity nosedived along with the global economy.

Aston Martin One-77 & V12 Zagato - US debut this month. The world and his dog takes their supecars – new and classic - to Monterey in August, making it a wonderful place for petrolheads to be. Which explains why AM has decided it will give a US debut to the Aston Martin One-77 and the Aston Martin V12 Zagato at a number of events during the Monterey week, including McCall’s Motorworks Revival and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Beijing Jeep Corporation BJ2S

These are pictures of the BJ2S, the first new Chinese military jeep in 35 years. Hailing from the Beijing Jeep Corporation (BJC), the BJ2S is also called the 'Warrior' and was designed by Edward Wong. The entire concept came to realization in a scant two and a half months. Wong took inspiration from Bruce Lee and the Shaolin monks when creating the BJ2S, a utilitarian design theme with a front fascia drawing on the face of the kylin, an auspicious animal in Chinese culture.
