****NEW/OLD STOCK**** 1962 OldsMobile Starfire Conv. Engine Rocker Arms These rocker arms are brand new/old stock directly from GM and have never been used. They have been in storage for many years. They show no damage, have never been dropped or broken. A complete set of 16 rocker arms. (8 left / 8 right) ------------------------------ In my attempt to liquidate my spare car parts, I do not have a regular return policy, however it is important to me that I stand by my listings. Toyota talks powertrain plans
Fri, 11 Oct 2013After trailing many of its competitors in the recent engine- and transmission-technology wars, Toyota Motor Corp. will launch a swath of powertrains in the next several years, a top powertrain r&d executive said. Koei Saga, senior managing officer in charge of drivetrain r&d, said that Toyota is investing heavily in turbocharged engines, larger displacement Atkinson cycle engines, continuously variable and fixed-gear automatic transmissions, and new hybrid and fuel cell technologies.
Lexus Hybrid sales top half a million
Sat, 22 Dec 2012Lexus has revealed that they’ve sold more than 500,000 hybrid cars, with the Rx 450h the top seller and the CT 200h catching fast. Unsurprisingly, as it was the first Lexus hybrid to be introduced in 2005, the biggest seller - accounting for half of all Lexus hybrid sales to date (259,000) – has been the RX 400h / RX 450h, but the CT 200h, which was only introduced in 2011, is catching up fast with sales to date of 122,000 to date. During the last seven years Lexus hybrid sales have risen from 26,000 to 113,000 a year and 25 per cent of those Lexus hybrid sales now happen in Europe, even though we don’t get cars like the HS 250h (56,000 sales) and the ES 300h (8,000 sales).
Nissan will move Rogue output to U.S. plant
Mon, 10 Jan 2011Nissan Motor Co. will shift production of one of its highest-volume vehicles, the Rogue crossover, from Japan to an American factory in a bid to cut its exposure to the high Japanese yen. Following the move, Nissan will build more than 100,000 Rogues a year at its Smyrna, Tenn., assembly plant in 2013, when the vehicle is scheduled for a redesign.
