Smart fortwo Edition Limited Three

Thu, 26 Feb 2009 00:00:00 -0800

Mercedes has had stick in the past for playing with its ‘Toy Car’, the Smart. What was a quality maker like Mercedes doing involved with a car the size of the boot on an S Class Mercedes and named after a watch maker (the name stands for Swatch Mercedes Art)? Yup, and there’s some Megane Coupe in there too.

Today, the engine is still in the front, those delightfully exposed front wheels still float over bumps and the frog-eyed headlights serve as a reminder of years gone by. And now the modern Seven has been taken right back to the period where it was first conceived, with these Grand Prix-style racers from Zolland Design.
