Up for auction is a 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Bel Air Biscayne Convertible Hardtop Sedan upper trunk molding (fits all except wagons). Original trim which has been stripped, straightened, sanded, buffed and anodized back to factory original finish.  The black has been repainted.  As good as NOS was in the 60's -- better than most NOS parts you will find today.  Show Quality - original trim restored and anodized back to factory original.  Unlike polished trim, this anodized piece will maintain it's finish, without polishing.  If you do polish it, you will not get black residue off the trim, like a polished piece.

Midsize 2015 Chevy Colorado coming fall 2014

Chevy introduced the 2015 Colorado pickup on Monday at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The midsize truck is expected to deliver class-leading power, payload and trailering rating when it goes on sale in fall 2014, at least according to the Bowtie. Chevy hopes the Colorado will be the most powerful midsize truck (in an admittedly small segment) thanks to its three-engine lineup.

Ford software maximizes hybrid efficiency

Ford will use a little navigation wizardry on two of its hybrids: the C-Max Energi plug-in and Fusion. The system will use GPS data and an algorithm to predict when a driver is close frequented destinations. The car will adjust powertrain controls to maximize efficiency.Ford calls the feature EV+, which is part of SmartGauge, standard on the Fusion Energi and C-Max Energi plug-ins and on hybrid models.

Mercedes confirms electric AMG SLS

By Richard Webber First Official Pictures 17 July 2009 09:46 Mercedes’ new AMG SLS – the gullwinged  GT supercar due to appear at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show – is going electric as engineers develop an emissions-free battery powered SLS as an alternative to the 563bhp V8. The eco SLS will have an electric motor powering each wheel, producing a total of 526bhp. Needless to say, for now it remains an engineering prototype – but a spokeswoman told CAR that Mercedes was intent on putting it into production.
