Mon, 18 Jan 2010The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. Tue, 02 Sep 2014OLYMPIC cyclist Chris Hoy remains on course to make his Le Mans racing debut, despite narrowly missing out on the points in the penultimate round of the 2014 British GT Championship. His Nissan GT Academy Team RJN GT-R finished the weekend’s British GT race at Brands Hatch in 11th place, although this was an improvement on a mid-grid 16th place starting position for the two-hour race. Sharing the car with 2011 Nissan GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough, Hoy started first and battled to 11th place before handing the car over to the GP3 Series and Le Mans racer for the race to the flag.
